Wushu Ireland

We would like to extend an invitation to every club in Ireland that practices Chinese Martial Arts to join Wushu Ireland.

President's Statement

It’s an honour and a privilege to have the role of President of Wushu Ireland. I would like to bring as many of our kung fu brothers and sisters together under one association. Wushu Ireland was set up through the Irish Martial Arts Commission and Sport Ireland to provide a world class governing body for Chinese Martial Arts, namely Kung Fu and Tai Chi - Wushu is the Chinese umbrella term for Martial Arts.

Wushu Ireland is a member of the Wushu Kung Fu Federation of Europe https://www.wkfe.org/ and the global body International Wushu Federation (IWUF) http://www.iwuf.org/.

I have experienced myself and seen many transformations of people through the practice of kung fu and tai chi. The training corrects posture and develops your entire body and this body transformation is what really drives the mental and emotional change in Wushu students. I see it every day and I hope that you will experience it too, if you have not already started your journey with Wushu. We all begin at zero in our martial arts training, the question is not about how far you can go, but when will you start….
